A self-publishing author has just completed the second of four novels, Turmoil, Darkness (Light and Hope to follow 2022/23). These novels detail the everyday realities of life from the early dark days of The Troubles in the '70s through to the Good Friday Peace Agreement in April 1998.
The first volume of Jane Buckley's Stones Corner Turmoil has garnered rave reviews following its February 2021 release. First-time author, Jane self-published after her manuscript was turned down by UK agents 'wary' of the subject matter.
Says Jane: "Some blatantly admitted, 'Never have, never will have anything to do with the Troubles in Northern Ireland, good luck!' I had to get published – somehow - and so I took a considerable risk. I cashed in some of my pension, ordered 2,000 copies of Turmoil, and developed my paperback ordering platform. It allows me to sign my books and manage the whole printing and distribution process - which I love."
Jane adds: "Living in Derry in the ‘70s wasn't easy for any of us. It didn't get much better as an Irishwoman living in London in the 80s and ‘90s. One of my greatest frustrations was the lack of understanding from the people I met of why The Troubles began or continued over the decades. Some were particularly biased in their views by what they'd heard or read in the media – sadly, some still are."
Jane feels committed to helping readers from all over the globe learn more about The Troubles with her series of moving historically based novels. As 'factional books', the stories cover many issues encountered by both sides of the sectarian divide, including conflict, cruelty, divided loyalties, strong family ties, gallow humour and star-crossed
"I'd never written anything like it in my life, but I knew I had to see it in its completed form. I've received terrific reviews for Turmoil, and many readers have ordered the second volume, Darkness. My goal is to write stories that will inform not just the younger generation but people from all over the world through historically based fiction. I hope they read and gain a better understanding of what it was like to live through those difficult days from
both sides of the divide. I want everyone to know we are proud, not just as people, but as a country in the way we have evolved for the benefit of all following The Troubles."
Jane is 'determined' to promote and spread the word of her novels to change the perception of Northern Ireland. "I’ve friends from England and other parts of the world, who'd never been to the North before and who admitted they were afraid to travel here, now visit. The problem is since they’ve been, they keep coming back! They love it!"
After researching and then writing Darkness, I found it challenging to remain objective. As a
result, Darkness, like Turmoil, has proved to be a realistic tale based on actual events.
A taste of Turmoil Reviews:
"I would highly recommend reading this book to anyone who lived through "The Troubles," in Northern Ireland, or whose parents did, or anyone else with interest in Irish History, or even anyone who also likes a GOOD THRILLER. Although the book is fictional, it is very historically accurate & an addictive read."
"Loved it! Shows what life in Derry at one of the worst times in its history was like for all who lived there. I can't wait to read the follow-up!"
"Great read; enjoyed all the characters; it all felt so real descriptions of the people, places scenes totally fantastic. Can't wait for the second book to come out eagerly waiting to find out the next chapters. 10 out of 10"
"I would highly recommend this novel to anyone. It was absolutely thrilling, gripping and often hard-hitting. I have always loved visiting Ireland and Northern Ireland in particular. But as an English lady born and, bred I never really understood what the Troubles were all about. I really do believe that this novel has given me a much greater insight as to what was happening in Northern Ireland during that period. And my goodness, it was both shocking and brutal."

ABOUT STONES CORNER: DARKNESS Volume 2
Darkness follows the next instalment from author Jane Buckley's Stones Corner, Turmoil. In the early '70s, considered the darkest years of the Troubles in Northern Ireland, it reveals the catastrophic fall-out from the doomed Derry City Hotel meeting.
The impact of the disaster follows the lives of so many, from the wealthy, vibrant James Henderson to the love-struck factory girl Caitlin McLaughlin and her family.
The guerrilla war in the province rages as it extends to mainland Britain and the Irish Republic. Darkness takes us from the dank hellhole of the overpopulated Victorian Armagh Women's Gaol to London's lavish, opulent private clubs.
An unmerciful and harrowing tale, it endeavours to illustrate what life was like for Ulster's war-torn, sectarian communities. It captures a story of conflict, survival of the fittest, and victims who attempt to live and love against a background of chaos and carnage.
Hope is deemed lost and forgotten until the power of love, truth, and justice steps in to create Light and a new beginning.

Jane Buckley was born in Derry/ Londonderry, Northern Ireland, in the late 60s and is the author of the Stones Corner Volume 1, Turmoil. Like many of her generation, she had to leave to find work elsewhere. At the naïve age of 17, she moved to London, where she lived and worked for over twenty-five years before moving to Nice, France.
Along with her husband John (born in Cork, Ireland), they finally returned home in 2017 and lived in Donegal. They love it but had forgotten how unpredictable the weather is!
Since Jane lived predominantly in London throughout the awful time that is known as "The Troubles", it was apparent then – and still is today – that not all the facts of the horrific events in Ulster – perpetrated on every side by the warring factions – were presented in an accurate and unbiased way. This was especially true in mainland Britain.
Over recent years, the couple recognised that many of the people they'd been fortunate enough to meet on their travels worldwide didn't understand why or how the conflict here in the North of Ireland began and why it continued for three decades. Jane found this particularly frustrating and decided to take it upon herself to inform them and others by writing a historical fiction series based on her own childhood experiences and around events from this horrific period in Ireland's history.
She says writing was a frightening project at first, given she'd never written anything substantial before but, being Jane, she'd write not just one novel, but a quartet, hence Turmoil, Darkness, Light and Hope!
Jane believes that we need to move on from "The Troubles" as a country while never forgetting how and why they occurred. In recognition of the hardship and suffering endured by so many of our friends, family, and neighbours, we should continue to embrace the healing and reconciliation process.
Jane is available for an interview. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org

ART & DESIGN HISTORIAN
NATIONAL MUSEUM OF IRELAND
Jenny McCarthy is an established contemporary Irish artist who lives and works in the remote west Kerry village of Ventry on the very edge of Ireland’s west coast. Jennys’ paintings are oil on canvas and her works include the dramatic scenery where she lives. More technical works such as the Navigator series feature detailed paintings of sailboats and navigational instruments. She employs a limited palette to create a purer result and is influenced by Monet for colour and by Turner, for light.
Throughout her career, Jenny McCarthy has remained faithful to the classical tradition of landscape painting – but with a twist. Her animated nimbus skies, low horizon, and stripes of equanimous sands are her signature style. Her work is informed by naturalism and optical verisimilitude – interwoven with touches of cubist brilliance. Illuminate reveals a collection of work where the less hermetic world of West Kerry opens up before us.
The frenetic energy and constraints of our daily lives are resolved in the harmony of McCarthy’s creations. The luminous reflection and illumination of a purer world is the dominant notion in these wonderful crystalline paintings. In their colours and forms they delicately linger between abstraction and objectivity.
A traditionalist and an avant gardist in one, her paintings invoke a distant past, yet in their artistic sensibility they are firmly rooted in the contemporary. Touched with classical undertones her unique style displays knowledge of colour theories through her limitation of the palette. At times her methodology changes from Abstraction to Cubism, through the distillation of form as in Skellig Diptych and the fragmentation of shapes seen in Ventry Beach Night Storm. The former painting is the first diptych McCarthy completed. Concerned that the physical division of the painting would break the visual continuity of the theme, McCarthy abstracts the rock face.
Through her treatment of the low horizon and the overall silver gray tonality of the light, unified by the whiteness of the sky, she subtlety interacts the islands. This pictorial device successfully secures the subject matter of the paintings, integrating them as one. In Ventry Beach and Approaching Rain McCarthy foregoes description in favour of pure effect where the paintings are visually framed by the animated blackness of the sinister skies. This is pictorial architecture at its best.
Hazel Katherine Larkin studied Theatre before leaving for the UK when she was 19. At 20, she moved even further afield – to Singapore. She spent the next 12 years in Asia before returning (reluctantly) to Ireland, with her daughters. She also returned to education, and now holds a BA (Hons) in Psychology and Sociology; an MA in Sexuality Studies; and an LLM in International Human Rights Law, from Queen’s University in Belfast. In 2015, her memoir – Gullible Travels – was published. It explores the long-term effects of being raised by a narcissistic mother, a psychopathic father, and being sexually abused by her father, elder brothers, and others, as well as being a victim of sex trafficking. Hazel is currently a doctoral student at Dublin City University, where her research is focused on transgenerational trauma with specific regard to Irish women, and child sexual. In addition, she runs workshops for parents who were sexually abused as children; daughters of narcissistic mothers; healthcare professionals and others interested in trauma-informed practice.

I opened my first small craft business way back in 2014, as a product based fibre arts business. Like so many other small businesses I very quickly realised that as a solopreneur you have to do everything! And I actually fell in love with the social media side of things.
I would help other crafters with their social media for free, while I learnt all about the best and easiest ways to make it all work.
Leaving home several years later, with my 7 children as we left a physically and emotionally abusive environment to become homeless for two months, was one of the hardest things that I ever did. During this time, I used my craft and creativity to get through a very stressful situation.
Today I teach social media skills in a stress free way to help other creative business owners - drawing on my own experiences - both successful and not so successful!
I teach a simple 6-step framework to keep your creative business and your social media simple and stress-free, and I am dedicated to creating communities that help, support and lift each other.
I work from home as a busy mum of 7, also caring for one of my children who is disabled and currently home educated.
I am an artist, musician, writer, and business development consultant residing in beautiful West Waterford. My career spans over 20 years in media, marketing, and sales, and now I am focused on bringing deep spiritual presence into my life and the lives of those I touch.
If I had to sum up myself in one word, I would tell you that I am an activator.
Throughout my career, I have had a front row seat to the transformative energy available to us all in the creative process. I have seen homeless people use their artistic abilities to get off the streets. I have seen whole movements arise from conversations between artists and caring people who are passionate about making an impact on their community.
The greatest miracles I’ve ever witnessed, however, were when individuals in my life have made a conscious choice to take responsibility for their own evolution. In my own journey, I have lovingly collected the necessary knowledge and tools to make this transformation available to anyone who is ready.

I am a Personal Stylist with over 10 years experience in Dubai, Uk & Ireland.
My goal for every client, male or female, is they walk away feeling confident and happy, knowing they are wearing clothes which suit their body shape, colouring & lifestyle while their personal style preference shines through.

Life is precious - let's make the most of it!
I love my life and wish everyone felt that way. Knowing this led me to become a Life Coach, so I can help people to find their way to a life they truly love.
I support my clients without judgment, so they can speak openly and confidentially as I help them to understand what they want from life, how to get what they want and importantly develop a better understanding of themselves.
One of the things I love to help people with is their self-esteem. It has a huge impact on how we see ourselves and the world around us. The more people I can help to feel truly happy being themselves, the better. No more caring too much about what others think of you; no more comparing yourself to others and feeling inferior; and instead feeling happy being you. This increases our ability to be kinder to others, try things even if they're scary, be confident in yourself and say 'no' when that's what feels right. This is a journey I've experienced personally over many years and coaching is a way of helping others to get there quicker.
We spend a lot of time at work - let's enjoy what we do!
Having noticed some of my early clients finding a new perspective and making changes in their careers, I added career coaching to my offer. This includes planning your career; getting off to a great start in your new role; and my 6-week Positive Career Habits group programme. For my group sessions, I'm able to draw on my (almost) 20 years of experience in management and leadership roles and my passion for continuous learning and development, as well as my coaching expertise (accredited by the International Coaching Federation).
I live in North West England with my wonderful husband Rich and our amazing son Jack. Some of the things I do for fun are Metafit, dancing, holidays (I'm looking forward to having those again) and spending time with friends and family.

Hi, My name is Elaine Dowling and I teach facial exercises. My web site is www.facefit.ie. I work from my home in Rosslare, Wexford and the classes that I currently offer are on zoom. These classes take the form of 1:1 classes and weekly group classes. I studied facial exercises with Eve Fraser in London in 2013 and I teach all four levels of the Eve Fraser method. I have found facial exercises to be very helpful in keeping the face and neck vital and alive as the body grows older. Practicing facial exercises regularly helps to remove some of the stress and strain that accumulates in our faces, it keeps the facial muscles strong and lifted, keeps the eyes more open and improves the jaw line.
I also teach Pilates, offering a wide variety of classes to both young and old with an emphasis on keeping the body strong and healthy as we grow older.
I especially enjoy facilitating Mummy and Baby classes and helping young mums to come together and share their experiences.

Helping you to connect deeply within yourself to allow your creativity and your gifts to emerge so that you can lead a healthier and happier life on every level.
Formerly a chartered accountant working hard and playing hard, Olive was faced with a stage IV chronic illness called Endometriosis and Olive decided it would not be the End-o’-her!
Olive endured 5 surgeries and met many challenges on the road to recovery and self-care management. She began to embark on a spiritual journey to improve her own health and subsequently shares the tools and techniques that she found have greatly helped her to heal, grow and transform throughout her personal development. Her first visit to a retreat was in 2008 which opened a whole new world for her and she opened her own retreat in 2014 running nutrition and relaxation retreats. All this was a blessing in disguise and led Olive from life of not tuning in and meeting her own self care needs to one of her dream come true of singing, yoga, meditation, sound healing, nutrition, juice therapy, Reiki, IET, lots of self care tools and having the time to majorly explore the healing of natures edible gifts in a beautiful environment at her lovely retreat in the heart of Ireland. She enjoys growing and foraging food, walks in the garden and meditating in her labyrinth.
Olive has a huge passion for sound and music and enjoyed launching her debut album "Relax and Nourish" which brings together her love for yoga mantras, ho'oponopono meditation and guided relaxation with sound healing...a mini retreat on an album! Be sure to check out the Butterfly Cottage Retreat 'Relax & Nourish' blog to hear some of the wonderful music meditation and more!

Hello! This is Laura from ‘Lovely Things’ here.
So, I am originally from Waterford, living in Dublin and am a parent of 3 young kids who are always on the go and growing far too fast. When our youngest, Grace, was born nearly 3 years ago, I was feeding her early into the morning when I half watched a horrible video of waves of plastic washing up on the shore of a faraway beach. The next day, I was sure it was a sleep deprived dream but I checked my phone and, sure enough, it was real. It was in that moment, looking at my new baby, that I decided that I would try and figure out what changes I could make to do my small part to help in the challenges in the environment all around us.
At the start, I felt totally overwhelmed. I didn’t know where to start. Then I had a real light bulb moment as I tried to wedge yet another lovely new outfit into my kids’ wardrobes. I realised that so many of these clothes were not worn at all or worn once, twice or maybe a handful of times and thought, ‘what am I doing?’ These could be passed on to other kids who would could wear them and look cute, cool, adorable, awesome or amazing and have a real impact on the world around my family and community by reducing our waste and our environmental footprint.
I started to buy preloved clothes from other parents and they were such lovely things! The quality, range and value were brilliant but I found it very time consuming. Selling our preloved kid’s clothes was a lot of work but I loved sending the packages off to other parents where our preloved would be re-loved and be enjoyed again (and again).
I just wished that sustainable clothes shopping was easier and the idea of ‘Lovely Things’ was born. ‘Lovely Things’ is just that - an ethical, quality focussed, reliable, Irish family business who would not sell clothes that they would not dress their own kids in. Lovely Things takes the hassle out of a more sustainable way of dressing our kids in beautiful quality clothes.
Check out our website www.lovelythings.ie, find us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/Lovely-Things-109636847522201 on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/lovelythingsbylaura/ and on Twitter @LovelyThings_ie
Who are we?
Lovely Things is a new family business who are passionate about sustainability, quality and service. As parents ourselves, we want to create a hassle-free way to buy beautiful, quality preloved clothes for kids aged 0-12 in Ireland.
Lovely Things is quality focussed, reliable and ethical. If we wouldn’t dress our own kids in it, we won’t sell it, if it creates waste, we won’t do it and we will never, ever use plastic to send anything to you.
What do we do?
Lovely Things offer a 'one stop shop' selling excellent quality and brilliant value preloved clothes from all your favourite kids’ brands. Everything is sustainably sourced in Ireland.
Lovely Things provide a hassle-free service to purchase your great quality kids' clothes. This offers a return on your investment and frees up your valuable space. By selling to Lovely Things you know you are part of a circular economy to extend the life of kids’ clothing, reduce its carbon footprint and support an Irish business.
Who are our clients?
You! Anyone who buys great quality clothes for kids aged 0-12 in Ireland. That means parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles, friends of anyone who has had a baby – basically anyone!
Do Lovely Things accept donations as well as buying clothes from you?
Yes! We are delighted to accept donations of great quality kids’ clothing. We will have a full Social Responsibility Programme. Lovely Things support 3 great Irish charities and voluntary groups in respect of donated items sold by us through our donation commitment. We will be announcing the full details of our programme and donation commitment later in 2020. If you would like to be added to our mailing list or have a query about selling your great quality kids’ clothes, please complete the contact form and we will be in touch with you.
Sinead C Kavanagh, The Holistic Parent, works by supporting parents or those in need of one, across the lifespan and journey through development. Whether you are welcoming your first or your fifth child, into the family or perhaps are parenting your own parents, it is important to remember that parents need parents too.
Sinead provides pragmatic and practical support with a holistic delivery, to parents at home and in business. Self-awareness is key. She is an educator, not a therapist, a facilitator, not a counsellor. As a holistic mentor and parent advocate, Sinead works as a guide to bridge the gap, from where you are now to where you want to be.
By building resilience, self-awareness, self-acceptance and self-knowledge, Sinead brings parents back to their sense of control in all aspects of their lives. It isn't necessary or helpful to feel isolated and alone. The journey is always more fun with company. Sinead advocates the 'meitheal' approach to parenting. Meitheal is the Irish for 'team' and as it takes a village to raise a child, allow Sinead to become part of your team.

Hi, I’m Jennie.
I believe that each of us has the potential to create the change we want to see in the world. But too often we get stuck feeling like we can’t. I want to change that.
The world needs people like you. People gifted with compassion and a desire to make a difference. People who see a problem and look for a solution.
And you need people like me. Someone who’ll not only help you find the confidence to step up and make that difference, but also support you as you create a life you love.
“Change is inevitable: Transformation is on purpose”
We have great work to do. Life changing work.
But first you need to figure out what’s getting in your way and how to stop it from preventing you creating a life you love.
That’s where I come in.
I can help raise your awareness of the limiting beliefs, patterns of behaviour and blocks getting in the way.
I can help you shed the overwhelm, guilt and fatigue that is weighing you down.
I can help you step up, take-action and make the difference that only you can make.

I am far from an academic and have gained much of my experience from throwing myself straight into the business world.
I have seen and worked with the very best and the very worst of business, I have dealt with many struggles and obstacles in my life (like everyone else) which I think, has moulded me into the person I am today. I have a great strength within, and I love to encourage, help and inspire others.

I launched Hoopla Focal to help people celebrate and express themselves through our beautiful Irish language. I hand-embroider cúpla focal in Irish on to sustainably and ethically made sweatshirts and bags. Customers can customise one of my designs, or I can work with them to create a completely bespoke piece that is unique to them.
I've taken great care to chose the sustainable and ethical option at every stage of my business. All the sweatshirts and bags I embroider are made from 100% recycled organic cotton and recycled polyester. There are 12 recycled plastic bottles in every sweatshirt! The factory in which they are manufactured is powered by renewable energy, and the cotton farming and recycling take place locally, to reduce the carbon footprint. The cotton is organically grown, and the farmers forgo the use of pesticides in favour of more traditional and eco-friendly methods. 95% of the water used for irrigation is supplied naturally by monsoon rainfall. The sweatshirts and bags are also certified by the Fair Wear Foundation, which guarantees that factory workers earn and fair wage and work in safe conditions. All my packaging is made from recycled materials, and is biodegradable.

My initial years while studying were spent learning all aspects of business from my dad who was self employed with a staff of over 300. Yes he was stressed but it was a tablet for a tablet etc. My qualifications are in business development, strength and conditioning and nutrition and health. Preventative, proactive healthcare is the way of the future through digi-health platforms, health screening and education and empowerment. Health and Fitness Ireland was established 4 months after dad died.

I am a Life Coach based in Donegal and offer a space where clients can explore their life, identify the changes they want to make to make their life more happy and fulfilling, clarity goals, and work towards creating the life that they want. I have been involved in personal development and growth for three decades and learnt so much from wonderful wise teachers, training, authors and then over time developed my own realisations and insights.
I am a tapping coach, I use EFT, a tapping process, in my coaching sessions. It is a powerful way to shift thoughts, beliefs and behaviours that may be holding someone back. It can really go to the core of issues causing clients' stress. At the core of my work is empathy and compassion. I have had depression for a lot of my adult life, and self compassion was what really made a difference in my healing. I am passionate about raising awareness about the benefits of self compassion and encouraging people to be kind and loving to themselves. If people are kinder to themselves, they then find relationships with others easier and life in general more sweeter. They also are more inclined to feel able to share their talents and skills with the world. "As we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fears, our presence automatically liberates other". ( Marianne Williamson)
Over a series of sessions, I want my clients to leave feeling happier and more relaxed in themselves, empowered to go out into the world, reach their potential and be their best self. I am also available for personal development workshops and courses. I can offer specific courses and then also tailor a course to meet the needs of a group or project.

As a very young child living in America, my parents were eager to instil within me an understanding of everything Irish, the language, the cultural and the mythology. Our bedtime stories were not the usual little red riding hood but were filled with Magic lands where you were forever young, boys who could defend a province with only his Gaoth Bulga, and fish that had the answer to everything. We were transported to Middle Earth and became central characters within my Dad’s own stories, I was queen Ailishín, queen of the fairies and this is where my Grá for Na Sídhe ( love for the Fairies ) started. Na Sídhe were a race of Irish Otherworldly beings with magical powers drawn upon the natural world. I have taken their name as my Company name, and I use many of the Celtic symbols for my sterling silver ashes cremation or hair infusion pieces.
My Business started off as a hobby initially, - a number of years ago my children were travelling away to compete in the World Kickboxing Championships and I wanted them to have something inspirational and protective, - as I could not find the right piece to fit the bill, I made it myself! I was then asked by a friend to make a piece for their child, and so on, as a result I took a leap of faith and started my business. I now create bespoke ashes / hair infused memorial pieces that bring comfort to those that are grieving. I am very blessed to be able to do what I love.

Kristin Smedley is a Speaker, Author, and NonProfit Founder/CEO. Her fun-loving spirit and energetic personality originally guided her life in the direction of a career in teaching. Kristin planned to be Teacher of the Year. But fate had other plans, and Kristin found herself shockingly dealt a double dose of darkness. Her two sons were each diagnosed with a rare blindness at four months of age.
As Kristin found and equipped her boys with the resources to help them thrive, they not only took on the world, but changed Kristin’s perception of blindness. She has dedicated her life to doing the same for millions of others that are given a blindness diagnosis.
In 2011, Kristin launched a mission to fund research and resources for children living with rare eye disease. In less than eight years, the Curing Retinal Blindness Foundation has raised over a million dollars and achieved the first legislation in US history to be submitted in Braille—legislation that advocates for better resources for blind and visually impaired Americans. Kristin testified at the FDA on behalf of the first gene therapy for an inherited disease, Luxturna, and she was named the Pennsylvania Ambassador for the National Organization for Rare Disorders.
In 2019 Kristin published her first book, Thriving Blind: Stories of Real People Succeeding Without Sight. The book achieved #1 New Release and Best Seller’s List on Amazon. The book and her TEDx Talk have been combined into a program for parents and educators to change the journey for blind children.
Kristin is known for her constant collaborations and partnerships to drive an entire field to progress. Her enthusiasm is contagious and her impact extraordinary. Kristin is the 2019 recipient of the Global Genes Champion of Hope Award and has been voted the 2017, 2018, and 2019 Power Person of Bucks County, PA.

I am originally from France, and have been living in Ireland for the last 20 years with my Irish husband and 4 sons. Over the years, I have developed a love of natural foods and the value of good healthy eating.
In early 2013, as my boys were growing up and needed me less, I decided to follow my passion and went back to school to study Nutritional Therapy.
In 2016, I graduated from the Irish Institute of Nutrition & Health (‘IINH’) with a Nutritional Science & Therapeutics Diploma, and a Nutrition & Lifestyle Coaching Certificate.
As a fervent believer in detoxification to obtain ultimate health and vitality, I have also regularly been attending fasting and detoxing retreats in France and Ireland over the last 9 years. Having experienced first-hand the body's tremendous ability to adapt and self-heal during a fast and a detox, I wanted to share this wonderful physical and mental well-being one can achieve.
In 2018, I attended the "Institut Supérieur de Naturopathie" (ISUPNAT) in Paris, France to train as a Coach in the theoretical and practical field of “fasting”. The training also included a 14 day fast and field training in a retreat centre where I deepened my understanding and learnings of what is involved in accompanying fasting groups, with care and professionalism.
I now run 7 and 4 nights residential detox retreats in Wicklow using the Buchinger Method of fasting, and Juice fasting and I educate my clients on healthy lifestyle habits for optimal mind and body performance."

My name is Marina, I’m from and live in Co Mayo, Ireland, and I founded BabyBoss and created and designed the patented design and solution driven two part baby vest The ‘twosie’. The Twosie comes with 1 top and 2 bottom parts and is 100% organic. I am a mum of 1 girl, Anna Lily.
She is the reason that has made me see this project through to the very end.
A ‘lightbulb’ moment led me to create The ‘Twosie’, when I had to change Anna Lily 4 times in one hour due to a tummy bug, which also meant I had to remove all her clothes each time to remove the vest, where it was only the bottom part of the vest that was wet each time, which was very stressful for Anna Lily as was lethargic and unsettled. This lead me to search online for a two-part baby vest, but to no avail, this is how the ‘Twosie’ was born. Our ethos at BabyBoss is to make parents lives easier.

I was feeling pretty tired from running the business and I believe giving too much of my energy away. I had never been guided in this area, for instance how to maintain your own energy levels. I had heard of this thing called Reiki. I tried it and found it wonderful. It helped me to boost my energy levels and enhanced my awareness on self protection and boundaries to maintain and boost my energy levels. So I decided to train in this area so 10 year slater became a qualified Reiki master.
I now have a clinic in Clebridge, Co. Kildare., Authentic Tera Mai Reiki and see clients for weekly appointments. In everything I do I maintain a light hearted and enjoyable environment.
“Being Mindful daily can change your life, Mindfulness and energy awareness helps me to do that” Catriona Mc Cormack
I hope that I fundamentally encourage people to thrive in lives, by helping to nurturing their bodies, minds and emotional selves. My aspirations for my students and clients is that each person leaves my session either yoga or reiki feeling refreshed nourished and balanced and carries this into their everyday lives.
At Your Style Your Story we've created a platform that gives you the freedom to create your own style at a time that suits you, while being confident that your investment in today will keep you smiling for years to come. Everything was created to help busy women to have easy access to beautiful boutique styles at times that suit them best. I am an accountant and as a busy Mum of two boys and running an accountancy practice I always struggled with trying to shop for clothes as there simply weren't enough hours in the day - unless I could find a boutique that would stay open until 10pm at night.
All of the models on my shop are close friends of mine - all a different size but equally beautiful. I wanted women to really be able to get an idea of what our styles truly look like when wearing. All of our collections are hand picked to compliment each other and help women to build up a capsule style wardrobe to take the hassle out of knowing what to wear and to help make their daily lives a little bit more simple.
Our styles were chosen as they will transcend seasons and our collections include smart casual and office wear clothing, handmade leather handbags and a jewellery range. Collections include ranges from Greece, Sweden, Denmark and Holland. Next day delivery to all of Ireland and a no fuss returns / exchange policy.
Don't forget to sign up to our newsletter from our website as each of our subscribers (both current and new) are automatically entered each month into a draw to win a €100 voucher for our webshop. Don't worry I promise not to bombard you with emails but want to share our style and lifestyle tips as well as give you exclusive access to pre sales and new product launches.
If you have any sizing queries or just want to find out a little bit more about any of our products just drop me an email and I will always respond asap and would be happy to help.
