The Harvest Ireland

by
Annie Claffey

Hello. My name is Annie Claffey. I’m going to tell you a story about my life. It is no different to anyone else’s – there are moments of highs and moments of lows.

I suffered postnatal depression 5 years ago. If I’m honest, the first tough time of my life and so I desperately wanted to get better. I had never felt so bad.

So I started doing various different types of wellbeing which really helped me get back on my feet and feel good again.

However, as we have all learned, when you’re down life tends to hit you a few more hard turns and so it did and so I tried more wellbeing techniques and through those tough times, came better times, happier times but the one thing that was consistent throughout was wellbeing. It kept me strong, healthy and calm.

So it’s as a result of my own wellbeing story, that I have created The Harvest, a three day immersive event in the @connemaracoast_hotel between 25th and 27th March. The best way to describe it is a music festival for wellbeing. There are so many different tools, techniques and treatments that you can try and you can do as little or as much as you want. It’s really about you finding the wellbeing that makes you feel good because the wellbeing that makes me feel good may not work for you.
The event will give people the headspace they need to work out what wellbeing makes them feel their best.

This event is for anyone that wants to live a healthier and more content life. So come, relax, rest, soak up the beauty that is Connemara and let my expert team of Harvesters take care of you. You will leave The Harvest feeling rejuvenated, proud of yourself for going a little out of your comfort zone and ready to start a path to a healthier and more content you.

With all of life’s stresses, obligations and commitments, our own wellbeing tends to fall down the list of priorities. The Harvest is your first step toward putting yourself first. The first Harvest self-care event is being held in the idyllic surroundings of The Connemara Coast Hotel from March 25th to 27th 2022. From the moment you arrive you’ll find yourself immersed in an atmosphere of self-care, rest and repair, with a full programme of activities, including:

Talks from our experts on mindset, resilience, health, nutrition and sleep
Yoga
HITT with fitness instructors and live DJs
Cardio Classes
Guided meditations and journaling
Creating your own Wellbeing plan
Holistic therapies – including The Wim Hof Method, reiki, kinesiology, hypnosis, acupuncture, craniosacral
DJs Mac and Tom will be providing live, responsive music for sessions throughout The Harvest
You can attend as many or as little activities as you want, as relaxing and taking it easy is a therapy in its own right!  We also have an excellent range of Holistic Treatments available throughout the weekend. These treatments provided by carefully chosen experts, can be booked separately and for a time that works best for you. Either way, you’ll go home relaxed, rejuvenated and with practical tactics and techniques to help you balance your life and lifestyle: work, family, social and fitness.
